Spring!

Today is the first day of spring - finally! Living in Idaho, we have extended winters and most of us go stir crazy being trapped inside waiting for winter to be over. The first sunny days before spring are always cold, but we get out of the house anyway and let that sunbeam hit our faces and soak it up. It feels so good to the skin and the soul.

Soon, flowers will be popping up everywhere and I am blessed with a beautiful flower garden. Everything is green again. Fresh. New. My favorite time of year. A time to clean and make the house look fresh and new again. It is work, yes, but when one is finished with the task, satisfaction settles in. A deep, soul refreshing satisfaction that is only earned through the hard work.

So, if the sun is shining, get out of the house! The rain isn't over yet and the cleaning can be done on those days. Enjoy the days of sunshine - refresh your soul. Then, on the rainy days, attack that cleaning, a little at a time so that it is not overwhelming. You'll be glad you did! >^,,^<
